Credit and Debit Card Processing Services for Judicial Payments

Boone County is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire professional services for credit and debit card payment processing. The objective is to offer the public convenient payment options for filing fees, court costs, copy fees, posting bonds, and other restitution costs. The county seeks a model where all associated service fees are borne by the cardholder, resulting in no direct cost to the county. The selected service provider must offer accounting data that links credit card charges to specific case numbers and aims to keep service fees as low as possible for cardholders. This service will be utilized by the Boone County Circuit Clerk, Boone County Sheriff's Office, and Boone County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
