The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) HAMILTON (WMSL-753) requires temporary lodging and laundry services for 20 personnel during its drydock repairs. The services are needed from May 27, 2026, to August 18, 2026, for a total of 83 nights. The lodging facilities must be located within a 25-mile radius of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in North Charleston, SC. The lodging may be split between no more than two physical locations. Each room must be single occupancy (one bed) or double occupancy (more than one bed), with pull-out sofas or cots not permitted as beds. Facilities must meet minimum standards, including being listed on the Hotel and Motel Master List, having at least a three-star Forbes or three-diamond AAA rating, and providing 24/7 access to a full indoor laundry facility and a workout facility within walking distance or on premises. Additionally, rooms must include internet access, weekly maid service, daily trash removal, an iron and ironing board, a full bath, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a personal belongings safe. Room entrances must be accessible only via internal, locked hallways. The contractor must also reserve 20 well-lit, marked, and video-monitored parking spaces, with any associated costs covered by the contractor. Laundry services include providing each member with a large mesh laundry bag and performing wash and fold services once per week for each member, with an estimated 10 lbs of laundry per member. Pick-up and delivery of laundry will occur as needed, with clean laundry folded before return. The contractor must also provide commercial standards for dining and lodging.
