Description

The United States of America is seeking a Multisizer 4e Coulter counter instrument. This instrument will provide improved functionality and analysis capabilities for measuring cell size, counts, and distribution using the Coulter method across multiple clinical research study protocols. The required specifications include Coulter method of measurement with patented digital pulse processing technology, automatic aperture blockage detection and clearing, a code scanner for various components, fluid level monitoring, and selectable stirrer speed and direction. The particle sizing range is 0.2 - 1,600µM, with a measurement range of 2 - 80% of aperture size. The instrument must offer accurate determination of sample cell number, size, distribution, and concentration, with detailed pulse distribution data and up to 400 size classes or channels. It should support real-time detection of volume changes and include various aperture tubes, beakers, diluents, and standards for operation and calibration. Installation is also required.
