Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District is planning the re-procurement of an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) single-award delivery-order contract for ALUM (ALUMINUM SULFATE) and POLYALUMINUM CHLORIDE (POLYALUMINUM HYDROXYCHLOROSULFATE). These chemicals are essential for the Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD) in Washington, D.C., which supplies potable water to approximately one million people in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. The chemicals are utilized in the operations of the Dalecarlia and McMillan Water Treatment Plants (WTPs).
