Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) from the United States Air Force to gather market research on commercially available repairs for Aircraft Live Fire Trainers. The objective is to identify vendors capable of replacing damaged control station electronics, LPG distribution systems, gas detection systems, and ignition systems with new parts and materials. The repairs must ensure the trainer complies with U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5220-17B, and NFPA 1403 and NFPA 1402 standards. Following repairs, the contractor will be responsible for training the 188th CEF Training staff on the trainer's operation. The final trainer should have minimal electronic components and operate through manual controls. Vendors are requested to submit a white paper (limited to 25 pages) addressing company information (including UEI and CAGE code), business size and type, and details on past performance, capabilities, and any limitations related to manufacturing and delivering the required supplies and services.
