Sole Source Award Notice: Ortho Vision Analyzer, Reagents, and Service Support

The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, in support of the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS), intends to solicit and award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Quidelortho Sales Company, LLC. This requirement is for a brand-name ortho vision analyzer, including reagents, service support, and consumables that are compatible with existing government-owned ortho workstations and immunohematology analyzers. The Ortho Vision Analyzer automates in vitro immunohematology testing using ID-Micro Typing System (ID-MTS) gel card technology. The specialized six-well gel card required for this system is only compatible with the ortho workstations currently in use at CAVHCS. Quidelortho Sales Company, LLC is the sole authorized provider for these analyzers, reagents, controls, consumables, and associated service support. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2026, with a period of performance not exceeding five (5) years or sixty (60) months.
