Description

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is soliciting bids for Single Wall Vertical Salt Brine Storage Tanks. These tanks are essential for storing salt brine and other corrosive chemicals used in anti-icing applications to treat North Carolina roads and highways during winter months. The solicitation aims to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for these storage solutions. The contract will have an initial term of three (3) years, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement. Bids must comply with all terms and conditions outlined in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) and any subsequent addenda. The NCDOT requires tanks to be new, unused, and the current model from the manufacturer, meeting specific minimum requirements including a 5,000-gallon capacity, high-density polyethylene construction with UV resistance, molded gallon markings, a vented manhole, and specific flange locations. Delivery is expected within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order to various NCDOT Fleet Divisions across North Carolina.
