Department of the Air Force Business and Enterprise Systems Commercial Solutions Opening

The Department of the Air Force (DAF), Business and Enterprise Systems (BES), is issuing this Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to invite industry participation in acquiring innovative, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) IT and business solutions. This CSO aims to enhance Air Force capabilities, improve efficiency, and reduce costs through a streamlined acquisition process. Specific opportunities will be announced via individual Calls for Proposals (Calls) published as needed until March 2, 2030. Awards may be in the form of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based contracts or Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs). The CSO focuses on areas such as Agile Methodology, Integration, Scalability, Security, Automation, Reporting and Analytics, Compliance, Support, Artificial Intelligence, and Reduced Cost of Ownership. Calls can be either closed (with specific deadlines for white papers or proposals) or open (allowing submissions at any time during a specified period). Evaluation factors will include Technical merit, Importance to Agency Programs/Commercial Innovation, Funds Availability, and Price. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) for FAR-based contracts.
