Pavement Marking Maintenance Services for DuPage County

DuPage County is soliciting bids for comprehensive pavement marking maintenance services. The scope of work includes the application of various types of pavement markings such as thermoplastic private markings (letters, lines of different widths), modified urethane markings (letters, lines of different widths), and raised median markings. The project also involves pavement marking removal through grinding, and the installation and replacement of reflective pavement markers. Specific quantities for different marking types are detailed, including thermoplastic private markings for letters and symbols (16,900 sq ft), various line widths (4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch, 24-inch), and high-solids thermoplastic private markings for 4-inch lines (657,100 ft). Modified urethane markings include letters and symbols (1,000 sq ft), and lines of various widths (4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch, 24-inch). Raised median markings are also specified (1,100 sq ft). The project also includes pavement marking removal by grinding (118,200 sq ft) and the installation/replacement of 500 reflective pavement markers. Temporary pavement marking removal is also part of the scope (500 ft). This project is subject to The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). IDOT Prequalification Category 27 (Pavement Marking) is required.
