5.56mm and .308 Caliber Rifle Ammunition IDIQ Contract

The United States Secret Service (USSS) is seeking to establish a new Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for 5.56mm and .308 WIN rifle ammunition. This ammunition will be used for firearms training and duty at the James J. Rowley Training Center. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price award with a base period and four option years. The USSS anticipates awarding the contract on a best-value basis, considering technical criteria, past performance, and price. Detailed specifications for both ammunition types are provided, including requirements for casing, propellant, primers, velocity, accuracy, and functionality. Sample submissions and final acceptance testing will occur at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. This is a small business set-aside opportunity.
