State of Rhode Island Motor Vehicle Auto Body Repairs

The State of Rhode Island is establishing an open-enrollment list of qualified vendors to provide comprehensive motor vehicle auto body repair services. This includes, but is not limited to, accident-related damage and collision repairs for a diverse fleet of state-owned vehicles such as passenger cars, SUVs, and trucks. The selected vendors will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards. Services will be requested on an as-needed basis via agency-approved Purchase Orders. Vendors must provide pick-up and delivery services and have the capability for towing or flatbed transportation for inoperable vehicles. For State Police vehicle repairs, vendors must prioritize and expedite services and undergo background checks for all employees. All replacement parts must be new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components. Completed work must be guaranteed for a minimum of one year. Vendors must possess a valid Rhode Island Class A or B Auto Body License and maintain heated, ground-level shop space.
