DSCR B3 Roof Vent Repair

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requires the repair of the B3 roof vent at their Installation Management Richmond, VA facility. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, procured under the NAICS code 236220 with a small business size standard of $45 million. The contract will be firm-fixed-price. The scope of work includes removing and disposing of a large, defunct metal roof vent that is causing leaks and damage. The contractor will need to support plywood sheathing over the opening, install 3-tab shingles to match the existing roof, and repair the interior ceiling by framing the opening with steel studs, installing mold-resistant gypsum wallboard, and finishing and painting the repaired area. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a quote. A site visit is scheduled for May 26th at 10:00 AM, meeting outside of B3.
