Reams Road Sidewalk and Pedestrian Crossing Construction

Chesterfield County, Virginia is soliciting bids for the Reams Road Sidewalk & Pedestrian Crossing project at Mistywood Road. This project involves the construction of approximately 500 linear feet of sidewalk extending from Marbleridge Road to Reams Elementary School. Additionally, two crosswalks will be constructed: one across Marbleridge Road to a sidewalk terminating at CG-12, and another across Reams Road at Mistywood Road to ensure safe pedestrian passage to the elementary school. The scope of work includes grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, concrete sidewalk installation, paving, traffic signing, and pavement marking. Contractors must be pre-qualified by VDOT at the time of bid opening to be eligible for this contract.
