Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair of Cranes and Hoists

The State of Connecticut, through its Department of Administrative Services (DAS), is soliciting bids for comprehensive preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair services for a wide range of lifting equipment. This includes cranes, hoists, monorails, jib cranes, bridge cranes, and fixed electric units located at various State of Connecticut facilities. The scope of services encompasses performing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) preventative maintenance schedules and inspections, identifying deficiencies, documenting findings in written reports, and providing recommendations for corrective actions. If authorized by the Client Agency, repair services will also be performed. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, industry standards (including OSHA and ASME B30 series), and manufacturer specifications. The contractor must ensure all work is performed by appropriately licensed personnel.
