]kahn model 102-240 dynamometers
This is a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for the technical overhaul and remanufacturing of Kahn Model 102-240 Dynamometers. These dynamometers are currently in use in test cells one through five at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) in Anniston, Alabama. The existing dynamometers have been in operation for over 20 years, and the original manufacturer, Kahn Dyno, no longer supports this model. Replacing them would significantly impact the existing test cell footprint and layout. The required services include providing detailed drawings and documentation for the overhaul, repair, or machining of components. This encompasses a Bill of Material, assembly drawings, an overhaul manual, and detailed manufacturing drawings for specific wear components such as the shaft, rotor, and various plates and rings. The contractor must also provide wear limit dimensions for bearing journals and balancing specifications. All provided documents must be clear, non-proprietary (or clearly marked as proprietary), and supplied in two electronic copies on USB flash drives in PDF format. The government reserves the right to print hard copies from these electronic files. The contractor must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety laws, regulations, and policies. This includes reporting any conflicts, environmental or safety regulator arrivals, and cooperating fully with any inspections or investigations. The contractor shall identify, monitor, and control contract operations that pose a risk of environmental contamination. The performance period for this contract is estimated to be 6 to 8 weeks after award.
