Description

The Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC) at Rock Island Arsenal requires a purchase order for degreasing solvent, degreasing solvent tanks (parts washers), and periodic scheduled waste solvent disposal. The solvent provided will be a 100% recycled product meeting Mil-PRF-680 Type II specification. The service includes providing and maintaining parts washers of various sizes (5 to 180 gallons), removing and disposing of dirty solvent and sludge, replenishing with clean solvent, and performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on the parts washers. Emergency response calls are also required. The contract will have a one-year base period of performance with four additional option years. Specific service intervals are outlined for different tank sizes, with projected service dates provided for an 8-week and 16-week interval. All disposal documentation and fees are the contractor's responsibility, including State of Illinois manifests signed by the transporter and RIA Public Works-Environmental. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, including those from OSHA, EPA, IEPA, and Army regulations. Security training, including AT Level I awareness training and general protection/security policy adherence, is required for contractor personnel accessing Army installations. Response time for service calls is within 24 hours, and within 1-2 hours for emergencies.
