Description

This project involves the rehabilitation of Runway 18-36 at the Waterloo Regional Airport in Waterloo, Iowa. The scope of work includes profile milling and a 7.5-inch PCC white top overlay of the pavement within the project area. Additionally, the project will include grooving of the new runway pavement and pavement marking for Runway 18-36, as well as restoration along the edge of the new pavement. Proposals will be received until 1:00 p.m. on May 14, 2026, at the City Clerk's office in City Hall. A public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost will be held on May 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Airport Conference Room on the 2nd Floor of the Waterloo Regional Airport.
