The City of Phoenix Water Services Department is soliciting offers for comprehensive wireless radio maintenance, repair, and support services for its infrastructure. This contract, anticipated to commence on or about July 1, 2026, will span five years. The services required include on-site labor for installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, as well as the replacement of wireless system components, software and firmware upgrades, and system troubleshooting to ensure reliable data transmission for SCADA and other operational control systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing and supporting a variety of wireless communication equipment from manufacturers such as GE MDS, Exalt, Rajant, Redline, Radwin, 4RF, and Cambium, ensuring compatibility with existing City infrastructure. Commissioning of all installed or replaced equipment, including functional testing, link performance validation, and SCADA integration, is also a key requirement. The scope of work also encompasses adherence to strict safety regulations, including confined space entry and tower safety certifications, and compliance with industry standards such as BICSI TDMM, NFPA, NEC, and TIA/EIA standards.
