Agile RFID Antenna System Licensing Opportunity

NASA's Technology Transfer Program is seeking inquiries from companies interested in obtaining license rights to commercialize, manufacture, and market their Agile RFID Antenna System technology. This technology enhances RFID reader communication with a greater number of RFID tags, improving localization and read accuracy in various environments. The system integrates an inexpensive frequency multiplexer to RFID reader antennas, enabling new methods of localization and allowing for greater antenna functionality with fewer reader RF ports. It offers improved read accuracy and/or range, and can utilize smaller antennas for enclosed spaces, reducing system volume requirements. Potential commercial applications include retail inventory management, manufacturing/assembly line tracking, industrial transportation and logistics, sports bio-analysis, and healthcare.
