Project Manager/Consultant for Rural Entrepreneur Capital Access Initiative

Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to serve as the Contracted Project Manager/Consultant for the Appalachian Business Builders initiative. This initiative focuses on expanding capital access for rural entrepreneurs in Western Maryland. The selected consultant will be responsible for managing and guiding this project. Proposals must be submitted electronically to Sherry Buffenmyer, Director of Fiscal Affairs, at sbuffenmyer@allegany.edu, or via hard copy to Sherry Buffenmyer, Allegany College of Maryland, 12401 Willowbrook Road, SE, Cumberland, MD 21502-2596. All submissions must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, June 02, 2026. The subject line for electronic submissions must include 'Proposal-AppalachianBusinessBuildersProjectManager/Consultant'. Late submissions may not be considered. The award of the bid will occur at a later date after proposal analysis. ACM reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and request new ones, or to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the college.
