Weld County Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan Public Hearing

Weld County, Colorado is preparing to submit its Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement funds. The county has been allocated $1,239,707 for 2026, with at least 70% designated to benefit low- and moderate-income persons. The Consolidated Plan, a five-year strategy, will identify community needs and outline how CDBG funds will be used to address them, focusing on decent housing, suitable living environments, and economic opportunities. A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631. The hearing will gather citizen input on community development and housing needs, particularly for low- and moderate-income individuals, to inform the 2025 Annual Action Plan. Written comments are also accepted until 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2026, at the Office of the Clerk to the Board, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631.
