Lost Mountain Road Intersection Improvements

Cobb County, Georgia is soliciting bids for the "2022 Transportation Improvements Program - Lost Mountain Road at Amberton Drive/Hopeton Drive" project. This project involves the construction of left turn lanes at the intersections of Lost Mountain Road with Amberton Drive, Kingsbury Drive, Oakleigh Valley Way, and Hopeton Drive. Additionally, the project includes connecting the existing sidewalk on the west side of Lost Mountain Road from Kingsbury Drive to Amberton Drive and other pedestrian enhancements. Work related to the Cobb County Water System will also be incorporated into this contract. The duration for the project performance is set at 365 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are strongly encouraged to pre-register with Cobb County Finance prior to the bid closing. Contractors must adhere to the current bid requirements of the Georgia Department of Transportation and comply with the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act." Cobb County encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Participation in all DOT contracts.
