Sole Source Wellhouse and Improvements Construction

The City of Clifton, Idaho is issuing a public notice of its intent to award a sole source procurement contract to RS Jobber Inc. for the construction of a wellhouse and related improvements. This decision is based on Idaho Code SS 67-2808 and is due to several factors. The City previously solicited competitive bids and received only one responsive bidder. Furthermore, RS Jobber Inc. is currently performing related work, ensuring continuity and compatibility of construction. Utilizing the same contractor also avoids additional mobilization costs. Finally, time-sensitive completion and financing requirements make re-bidding impractical and contrary to the City's best interests. Any vendor wishing to challenge this sole source procurement must submit a written notice of challenge to the City of Clifton within fourteen (14) days of the publication of this notice.
