Description

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking information to identify capable parties for Base Operations Support Services (BOSS) at a newly established Training Center (TRACEN) in Birmingham, Alabama. The scope of services includes comprehensive facilities maintenance, housing maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, pest control, and refuse collection for a 192-acre campus with 60 buildings. The services will encompass routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance, ensuring all facilities are safe and operational. Key tasks include managing and maintaining HVAC systems, electrical systems, fire alarm/suppression systems, building structures, water distribution, sewer systems, grounds, and providing custodial and pest control services. The contract will require adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, industry standards, and USCG regulations. This is a Request for Information (RFI) to gather market data, and not a solicitation for bids.
