Description

The 42nd Communications Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB) in Alabama requires information regarding warranty and sustainment support services for their SIPR/NIPR Virtual Core Server Equipment. This equipment is crucial for providing core services such as file, print, and web access within the virtual environment for Maxwell AFB. The original manufacturer's warranty is nearing its end, necessitating support at the highest manufacturer level for troubleshooting and restoration after local efforts. The requirement includes a one-year Sustainment Support Service Agreement (Warranty) with four additional option years. This agreement covers three HP DL360 Gen11 8SFF Servers (NIPR) and three HP DL380 Gen10 8SFF Servers (SIPR). Contractor responsibilities include unlimited 7x24x365 technical telephone support, remote diagnostics, and on-site maintenance if required. All labor, parts, and materials for repairs or replacements must be covered by the contractor, with work performed by authorized technicians. The contractor must ensure all equipment is returned to a fully operational state, and all replaced parts and any resulting residue are removed and properly disposed of.
