Millstone Fire District #1
Millstone Fire District #1 is seeking proposals from qualified auditing firms to conduct the annual audit of the District's books and records for the year ending December 31, 2025. The selected firm must possess substantial experience in governmental auditing within the State of New Jersey and ideally have Registered Municipal Accountants (RMAs) on staff. Submissions must include evidence of CPA firm licensure, a list of current and past government audit clients, resumes of key personnel, a description of staff including CPAs and RMAs, proof of professional liability insurance, addresses of nearby offices, details of debt financing experience, and any other relevant factors demonstrating the firm's ability to provide superior service. Selection will be based on firm size and CPA/RMA count, experience in governmental audits and debt financings, timely performance capability, familiarity with New Jersey Fire District accounting, and other factors in the District's best interest.
