Annual Crane and Hoist Test and Inspection Services

The 158th Vermont Air National Guard is soliciting quotations for annual crane and hoist test and inspection services. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with a response date of May 27, 2026. The services required include annual safety inspections and load testing of five overhead hoists located at various aircraft maintenance facilities. The period of performance is from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029, with a base year and two option years. The contractor must ensure all employees possess the necessary licenses and qualifications for operating equipment and performing inspections in accordance with Department of the Air Force Manual (DAFMAN) 91-203, OSHA regulations, and ASME standards. Upon completion, a detailed inspection report and load test certification will be provided for each hoist. If deficiencies are noted, an itemized quote for recommended repairs will be submitted within 15 days. Any safety hazards identified must be reported immediately to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Repair services for inoperable hoists will be dispatched within five business days, with repairs completed within 10 business days of contract modification approval.
