Alodized Aluminum Sheets

This solicitation is for bids on alodized aluminum sheets that meet specific engineering specifications. The material required is non-heat-treated aluminum alloy 5052-H38, with precise thickness tolerances and a specified tensile strength and elongation. The finish must be alodized, producing a light, tight iridescent coating free of powdery residue, and must resist a minimum of 168 hours of salt spray exposure. The specifications also detail dimensional tolerances for width and length, as well as surface condition requirements. The aluminum must be suitable for forming and welding. Each material lot must be accompanied by a mill certificate certifying compliance with specifications. Packaging and shipping instructions will be per the Purchase Order.
