Description

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Media Projects program provides funding for the creation and distribution of engaging media content grounded in humanities scholarship. This program supports radio programs, podcasts, documentary films, and documentary film series, emphasizing thoughtful, balanced, and analytical approaches. Funding is available at two levels: Development, with a maximum award of $75,000 and a period of performance of 6-12 months; and Production, with a maximum award of $700,000 and a period of performance of 1-3 years. The expected outputs include film, television, video, online video, podcasts, and radio broadcasts.
