Translation and Interpretation Services for Santa Barbara County

The County of Santa Barbara, through its Procurement Services Division, is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of translation and interpretation services. These services are essential for effective communication across language barriers within county departments. The scope of work includes over-the-phone and video interpretation, Braille translation, oral translation for audio and video content, and language proficiency testing for county staff. Services must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PT, with the capability to accept and complete assignments with less than one business day's notice, including weekends. The anticipated contract term is from execution until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of two one-year renewal terms.
