2026 Water Tower Project

The Town of Wamsutter, in collaboration with the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA), is soliciting sealed bids for the design and construction of a new redundant water tank or tower. The project includes site preparation, geotechnical improvements, construction of the new water tank or tower, installation of piping and valving, and potential upgrades to the SCADA system and pressurization system (booster pumps) if a tank is selected. This project aims to ensure the reliability of potable water for the Wamsutter community. Funding for this project is provided by Housing and Urban Development (HUD), overseen by WCDA. All aspects of the project, including procurement, design, implementation, and closeout, must comply with HUD and Federal regulations, as well as the WCDA CDGB Procurement Manual. The contract will also require compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, Build America Buy America (BABA), Code of Federal Regulations, and the Copeland Act.
