Description

The City and County of Denver, through the Rocky Mountain Purchasing Group, is soliciting proposals for on-call environmental assessment services. These services will supplement the Division of Environmental Quality's work efforts in environmental site assessment, brownfields redevelopment, leaking underground storage tank removal and remediation, general remediation and oversight, emergency response support, environmental litigation support, and NEPA HUD support. The contract will be for a period of five years. The scope of work includes performing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in compliance with EPA and ASTM standards, preparing reports for Categorical Exclusion forms, and conducting investigations and remediation for sites contaminated under RCRA or CERCLA regulations. The services may also involve asbestos containing material surveys, lead-based paint surveys, and working under the supervision of a Certified Industrial Hygienist for sites contaminated by illicit drug laboratories. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing remediation design plans, feasibility studies, and managing waste materials. Emergency response support and environmental litigation support are also included. Contractors must be listed on the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Oil and Public Safety's Recognized Environmental Professionals List. All personnel providing services will be subject to background checks, including federal criminal records, state criminal records, and national sex offender registry searches. Specific locations may require additional checks, such as NCIC background checks for Denver Police Department facilities. Compliance with airport security regulations is also required for work at the airport.
