Repair and Repurpose of Building 138

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island anticipates a forthcoming solicitation for the repair and repurposing of Building 138 at the Rock Island Arsenal. This project involves replacing the existing 12,000 square foot concrete floor to facilitate drainage, installing new man doors for life safety compliance, and replacing the existing sliding wood door with a new coiling overhead door. The scope also includes extensive exterior masonry repairs to ensure a weather-tight enclosure, installation of new mechanical ventilation equipment compliant with current codes, and electrical outlets for tenant use. This requirement is designated as a 100% total small business set-aside.
