City of Port St. Lucie Utility System
The City of Port St. Lucie is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of electrical supplies and equipment. This procurement aims to provide the Utility Service Department with improved access to a wide array of electrical parts and pieces. The scope of work includes supplying and delivering electrical materials and equipment on an as-needed basis. This encompasses various product categories such as electrical components (e.g., conduit, wire connectors, circuit breakers, wire and cable) and lighting products (e.g., energy-saving lamps, LED lighting, ballasts). All products must be new, unused, and in original packaging. Contractors must be authorized distributors or provide proof of purchase from an authorized distributor, and manufacturer warranties must be honored. Pricing for core items will be firm and fixed, while non-core items will be priced based on a catalog or pricelist with a single fixed discount percentage. Standard delivery for in-stock items should not exceed 48 hours from order confirmation, with an identified capability for emergency deliveries. The primary delivery location is 1001 SE Prineville Street, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, with the possibility of additional locations being added throughout the contract term.
