Water Treatment Plant Chemicals Supply

The City of Concord is soliciting bids for the supply of a variety of chemicals essential for water treatment processes. The contract will cover the delivery of Liquid Alum, Sodium Hydroxide Solution (both 50% and 25%), Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Potassium Permanganate, Liquid Polyphosphate, and Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite. These chemicals are intended for use at both the Coddle Creek Water Treatment Plant and the Hillgrove Water Treatment Plant. Deliveries are expected to commence on July 1, 2026, and will be on a twelve-month contract basis, with quantities estimated based on the needs of each plant. Specific delivery requirements, product standards (including AWWA and NSF), and safety protocols are detailed for each chemical. Bidders are required to submit product specifications, affidavits of quality, and certificates of insurance. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
