Dayton Township Gravel Loading and Hauling Services

Dayton Township is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the loading and hauling of gravel. The estimated quantity is 5,000 tons, more or less, to be delivered as directed within Dayton Township during the year 2026, with all deliveries to be completed prior to August 1st, 2026. Bids should be submitted on a per-ton basis, and each load must include a ticket for tracking and billing. Preference will be given to bids specifying SD DOT Surface Gravel spec gravel. Bids must be received by the Dayton Township Clerk at 27589 480th Ave, Harrisburg, SD 57032, no later than 7:00 PM on May 14th, 2026. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, extend the deadline, and allow supplemental bids or paperwork at their sole discretion. An optional meeting for interested parties will be held on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at 7:00 PM at 27727 480th Ave, Canton, SD. Bids will be opened at this meeting, and an award is expected within 30 days of bid opening.
