Campus Security Fence and Access Control Construction

The Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 20, is conducting market research for a construction contract to construct a campus security fence and access control system at the Vancouver campus of the Portland VAMC. The project includes constructing a new fence to replace the existing 6-foot chain-link fence, a concrete mow strip, one motorized vehicle gate, three personnel gates, and a vehicle fortification. The project also includes new entry doors, frames, and hardware at Buildings 3 and 4 with electronic locks and card readers tied into the existing security system, as well as eight additional trees and associated wheel stops. Sources are being sought for security cameras compatible with Avigilon brand and complying with EIA 330 and UL 1, IAW Specifications section 28 23 22, Part 2.2. The cameras and controllers proposed must be able to work with the current networked system, since these are IP based modules and already have an assigned address.
