Description

The City of Tulsa's Water and Sewer Department requires a new, unused, latest production model, 6-inch, heavy-duty, portable, trailer-mounted, self-priming, compressor-assisted, centrifugal trash/sewage pump. The pump should be powered by a liquid-cooled diesel engine and meet specific performance requirements, including a flow rate of 2,680 gallons per minute, a maximum total dynamic head of 190 feet, and the capability to pass 3-inch solids. It must be self-priming and capable of operating in a "snore" condition and running dry for up to 24 hours before re-priming. The pump set will be mounted on a highway-rated trailer meeting DOT standards and will include a fuel tank with a minimum capacity of 114 US gallons for 24-hour run time. The contract will be for one year, with potential for additional one-year terms.
