Rehabilitate Taxiway A at Stennis International Airport

This solicitation is for the rehabilitation of Taxiway A and associated connector taxiways at Stennis International Airport. The project includes mill and overlay of the taxiway pavements, isolated base repairs, restoration of taxiway edge drops with imported fill and sod, and raising of taxiway edge lights as needed. The contract duration for substantial completion is 145 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 per calendar day for delays beyond substantial completion, and $1,500.00 per 15-minute interval of runway closure past scheduled opening. Bidders must be qualified contractors licensed in Mississippi and provide a current Certificate of Responsibility. Proposals must be submitted by 10:30 AM local time on Thursday, June 4th, 2026. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount is required, along with a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond within 10 days of award. This project is subject to Davis-Bacon Act wage requirements.
