Annual Floor Covering Services Contract

The Wellesley Housing Authority is soliciting bids for annual floor covering services for its properties throughout Wellesley, Massachusetts. The scope of work includes on-call and as-needed services such as carpet installation and replacement, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), vinyl composition tile (VCT), and sheet vinyl installation, as well as cove base installation, flooring demolition, subfloor preparation, and related flooring tasks. The contract is set to begin on August 1, 2026, and conclude on July 31, 2027. The Wellesley Housing Authority reserves the right to exercise two optional one-year renewals at its discretion. A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled for Monday, June 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Wellesley Housing Authority, 109 Barton Road, Wellesley, MA 02481. Bid documents will be available starting Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM via the Authority's website, email request to James@WellesleyHousing.org, or in person at the Authority office. All bids must be submitted electronically to James@WellesleyHousing.org by Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:00 AM. This solicitation is subject to Massachusetts public bidding laws and prevailing wage rates.
