]child & youth summer camps
The Maryland National Guard Child and Youth Program is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive summer camp services for military dependents. These camps aim to foster leadership training, resilience, and life-skill building activities for youth aged 7-18, preparing them to cope with the challenges of being a military child and reducing risk-taking behaviors. The services required include an all-inclusive nature/wilderness camp setting within a 100-mile radius of Baltimore, MD. The venue must provide lodging and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for participants. Specific activities include team building, resiliency training, rock climbing, mindfulness-based practices, social-emotional learning, and experiential adventure challenges. The contractor must ensure at least 25% of their staff are CPR certified. The program targets two distinct groups: a Youth Camp from June 22-26, 2026, for approximately 36 attendees (34 youth, 2 chaperones), and a Teen Camp from August 3-7, 2026, for approximately 32 attendees (30 teens, 2 chaperones). Dietary needs such as vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options must be accommodated.
