The Department of Defense, through the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, is soliciting grant applications for the fiscal year 2026 Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program (TSCRP) Clinical Translational Research Award (CTRA). This program aims to support studies that will advance promising preclinical and/or clinical research findings closer to clinical application for the diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). The award mechanism allows for multiple Principal Investigators (PIs), with a maximum period of performance of three years. The estimated total program funding is $3.5 million, with individual award cost caps of $1.60 million for single PI applications and $1.90 million for partnering PI applications. Research focus areas include understanding and treating TSC-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders, strategies for preventing and eradicating tumors, preventing epilepsy, developing diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, and improving maternal-fetal and reproductive health related to TSC.
