Description
The City of Salem is seeking a supplier to provide finish filter sand for the Geren Island Water Treatment Plant. The sand must meet specific physical and chemical requirements, including being predominately siliceous material, free of contaminants, and having an effective size between 0.27 and 0.33 mm. The supplier must provide a 5 cubic yard test run of the sand for testing prior to award. The contract will be for one year, with the option to renew for four additional years.
