Laundering Services for Coveralls and Maintenance Rags

This solicitation is for commercial laundering services for personnel coveralls and maintenance rags for the Marine Corps Detachment at Fort Lee, VA. The contractor will be responsible for the provision, pickup, cleaning, delivery, repair, replacement, and inventory management of these items. The contractor shall retain ownership of all coveralls and maintain required inventory levels throughout the period of performance. Specific requirements include providing lint-free, non-flame-retardant coveralls durable enough to withstand exposure to grease, oil, lubricants, and cleaning solvents. The contractor must maintain an inventory of 130 coveralls (various sizes) and 900 shop rags (cotton or cotton-blend, approximately 12"-14" square, red or other identifiable color). The contractor must ensure full inventory availability at all times and restore shortages within one business day. Services include twice-weekly pickup and delivery, cleaning to meet cleanliness standards, and replacement of lost or damaged items. Invoices are to be submitted monthly through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system.
