]http://www.mckeeassoc.comMontgomery Public Schools is soliciting sealed proposals for the construction of a new marquee sign at Goodwyn Middle School. The project requires general contractors to visit the site and examine existing conditions prior to submitting their proposal. Bidders must possess general liability and worker's compensation insurance, and bids should exclude taxes. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms, and no bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the closing date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to Montgomery Public Schools, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid but not exceeding $10,000.00, must accompany each proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at the time of contract signing. General Contractors must be licensed under Alabama law, with their license number clearly displayed on the outside of the sealed bid envelope. All RFIs and RFAs must be submitted via email using the forms provided in the project manual.
