Radio Frequency Read Water Meters

Florence Township is soliciting bids for the supply of radio frequency read water meters and replacement heads. The meters must comply with AWWA C-700 through C-707-10 standards, feature an absolute encoder type remote reading system, and be constructed of brass with corrosion-resistant treatment for electronic components. A minimum twenty-year warranty on the battery and radio, and a minimum ten-year warranty on the meter are required. The devices must be lead-free and compatible with existing collection reading devices and software, with accuracy within 2% across various flow rates. Delivery of meters must not exceed thirty (30) days from the award of contract or placement of an order. Bids are due by May 12, 2026.
