Concrete Overlay Services at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking concrete overlay services for approximately 15,000 square feet of existing concrete at the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center (SQRC). The work involves applying a concrete overlay with a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches and a maximum of 2 inches, using a 4000 psi concrete mix with a bonding agent. Normal colored concrete or a "Deep Patch" product from Surecrete can be used. The project requires adherence to detailed specifications and plans provided by the CDCR, covering various aspects of concrete preparation, installation, finishing, and curing. The contractor must possess a valid C-8 Concrete Contractor specialty license and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Cal/OSHA requirements.
