Carpet, Tile, and Wood Flooring Installation and Restoration Services

This is an open enrollment solicitation from the State of Rhode Island to establish a list of licensed and qualified suppliers for flooring products, installation, and restoration services. The scope includes carpet, tile, wood, and similar products, encompassing removal, installation, refinishing, and restoration. Agencies across the state can request quotes for projects of various sizes. Vendors are responsible for inspecting project locations, taking measurements, and becoming familiar with the scope of work before submitting bids. Pricing for specific services will be provided by awarded vendors upon agency request. The scope includes the removal and disposal of existing flooring and adhesives, and installation according to manufacturer specifications, including a warranty against seam failure. Vendors must also be registered with the Rhode Island Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board and installers must have at least five years of experience. The solicitation is divided into three tiers: Tier 1 for general installation and restoration, Tier 2 for carpet and tile installation only, and Tier 3 for wood floor restoration only. Proposals will be reviewed on a pass/fail basis.
