Agricultural Technical Assistance Provider Master List

The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) is seeking Technical Assistance Providers (TAP) to serve as independent contractors to provide assistance to individuals, businesses, and organizations involved in Massachusetts agriculture. This RFR will result in a master list of qualified TAPs who will have the opportunity to bid on services to meet the needs of Department programs. The emphasis in this RFR is for providers of one or more of the following service categories needed in current programs: business planning, financial assistance, marketing, succession planning, various types of technical assistance requiring agricultural knowledge and expertise, agricultural business course instructors, and presenters for workshops and trainings. Various Technical Assistance services are required to support farmers and agricultural businesses through Department programs, which may include one or more one-on-one consultations with farmers, developing or updating a farm business plan, or providing financial, succession planning, or marketing assistance. It also may include instruction of courses or trainings, or presentations at workshops or events which could be virtual, in person, or a combination of both.
