Masticating Machine for Kenai NWR, AK

This solicitation is for a masticating machine to be used for clearing hazardous fuel breaks on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, for the protection of human life, safety, and property from wildfire risk along the boundaries of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge (NWR). The machine must meet specific requirements for its undercarriage, engine, hydraulics, overall size, and operator's cab. The masticating head must be comparable to a FAE 300/U-225 Sonic Mulching head. Delivery is FOB Destination to Kenai NWR, Soldotna, AK. The anticipated performance period is from contract award through November 30, 2026.
